How we will be keeping you safe

COVID-19 Real Fitness Training was built out of the passion for health, the health of our staff and the health of our clients is of the up most importance for us. During these unprecedented times our primary focus is on building upon our clients health therefore we will be following the correct procedures at all times.

At RFT we will;

Adhere to NSW Health Advice at all times
-Strict 1.5 meter distancing rule
-Booking systems will be placed to use the gym facility and classes. This will ensure guidelines are followed with a max amount of people at all times.
- Clients or Staff are not to visit the facility if they’re unwell
-We have given trainers the right to ask clients discreetly to leave the facility if they present unwell
-Coaches will be wiping down and sanitising equipment after each equipment use
-Clients are asked to sanitise & wipe down their equipment before and after their workouts
-Large towels must be used
-Sanitiser stations are set up around the studio for quick and easy access allowing everybody to wipe down their equipment after use
-Disinfectant used is hospital grade that kills viruses including the coronavirus.

1. COMMUNICATION TO TRAINERS AND CLIENTS
Real Fitness Training prides itself on its communication through the team and wider community. We will consistently monitor case numbers, government regulations and tribe sentiment to ensure we are staying up to date. All communication in relation to health and safety matters for the COVID 19 pandemic, including infection control measures that have been implemented in the studio will be completed through weekly team meetings, emails to clients, announcements on Facebook, Instagram and posters displayed throughout the our facility. 

2. TRAINING 
All trainers have completed the Australian Government online COVID infection control training module to ensure they are up to date with the latest information in relation to infection control 

3. PHYSICAL DISTANCING 
-Trainers, clients and visitors to our studio are to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters where practicable. 
-Gym strategies to ensure a physical distance of 1.5 meters can be maintained include:The number of people in the studio at any given time is to be minimised to 1 person per four square meters of floor space.
-Movement throughout the gym of both trainers and clients is closely monitored to ensure social distancing is maintained.
-The studio format has been redesigned to all for more social distancing and minimise sharing of equipment
-Restricting the number of clients allowed in specified areas
-Minimising studio access to allow for better control of foot traffic

4. HANDWASHING AND HYGIENE 
-Personal hygiene and regular hand washing is encouraged and supported by multiple sanistastion hubs and electronic soap and hand dryers in the washrooms.
-Trainers have received education as to when hand washing is indicated and also appropriate technique.
- Posters explaining how to wash hands are displayed in the studio bathrooms
-Trainers have received education in relation to hygiene methods to limit the spread of viruses and other air-born organisms including but not limited to coughing and sneezing into their elbow or tissue, avoiding touching their face, hygienic disposal of tissues (Australian Government online COVID infection control training).
-Sink facilities are available within the RFT bathrooms to enable hand washing with automatic soap and automatic hand dryer..

5. VENTILATION
RFT will ensure the studio stays well ventilated by keeping our two large roller doors open, this will ensure that fresh air is able to travel through the studio.  RFT is also a very large open space so ventilation is fantastic

6. WORKER OBLIGATIONS

-
Workers are obliged by Work, Health and Safety laws to do what is both reasonable and practicable to protect themselves and others.

-At RFT our coaches are requested to: Stay at home if unwell. In particular, if you have a fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose and/or shortness of breath.

-Stay at home if you become aware of any potential exposure to COVID 19. In particular, if a person you have been in contact with reports an epidemiological history or develops symptoms which meet with COVID 19 testing criteria and/or have tested positive.

-Inform your manager ASAP of your need to stay home. Contact your GP and follow instructions re testing for COVID 19 and self-isolation.

7. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

- At RFT our clients are requested to: Not attend the studio if unwell. In particular, have a fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose and/or shortness of breath.
-Not attend the studio if you become aware of any potential exposure to COVID 19. In particular, if a person you have been in contact with reports an epidemiological history or develops symptoms which meet with COVID 19 testing criteria and/or have tested positive.
-Notify RFT as soon as aware of testing positive
-The onus is on the client to determine if they are “vulnerable” and can safely resume their training
