SLOW COOKED BRISKET TAKE 2

You thought the first slow brisket recipe i posted was good….? You ain’t tasted nothing yet 🤤

SERVES A LOT OF LOVED ONES 6+

INGREDIENTS

MEAT RUB

BBQ SAUCE

METHOD

  1. Fire up the slow cooker and add all the ingredients for the bbq sauce, let it sit there on high while you “rub” the meat
  2. Mix the spice rub together and rub into the meat well with your hands, allow the meat to sit with the rub on it for 30mins
  3. After 30mins add to the slow cooker, put the lid on and leave for 6hrs
  4. Towards the end of the 6hrs peel and slice the onion and add to the meat
  5. Pre heat the oven in the last 30mins of the cook time and prepare a lined baking tray for the meat to sit on
  6. Place the meat on the tray and allow to cook, uncovered for 15mins
  7. Add the sauce and juices from the slow cooker into a small saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. It will thicken once it cools. Once you have brought the meat out of the oven coat in the sauce
  8. Whola! You have the most drool worthy meat dish in town.
