INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  1. Place the brisket and all the ingredients except for the onion and kale in the slow cooker and cook for 6hrs
  2. After 6hrs prepare an oven proof dish with the chopped kale which is removed from the stalks and layer it with sliced onion
  3. Lay the brisket on top and add 3 cups of the sauce that it came from
  4. Place foil over the top and place in the oven at 170-180 degrees for 30 mins and than take the foil off for a further 30mins
  5. Remove from the oven and serve with mashed potato or sweet potato
