INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 cups of almonds
- 3tbs cocao powder
- 2tbs hazelnut protein powder, Macro Mike
- 10 dates
- 2tbs coconut oil, melted
- 1tbs coconut flakes
OREO FILLING
- 1/2 cup of coconut flakes
- 1tsp vanilla essence paste
- 3tbs coconut cream
METHOD
- Add all the biscuit ingredients into a food processor and whiz until well blended
- Remove the mix and place it between two sheets of baking paper, big enough so you can roll it out
- With a rolling pin roll out the biscuit dough so you at least have a little thickness for the biscuit
- With a cookie cutter of your desire, I used a glass but found it too big hence why my biscuits are quite thin
- Once you have your cookie cut outs after rolling the dough a few times to get as many cookies out of it as possible place them on a lined tray and place in the fridge to set
- Next is the Oreo filling
- Clean out the food processor and add the filling ingredients and blend well
- Place the filling in the fridge for at least 20-30mins until it becomes firm enough to spread on the biscuits
- Make the Oreos and keep them refrigerated whilst your family enjoys them.
