PEANUT BUTTER SLAB SLICE

This is a very decadent slice that I make for special occasions. No baking necessary and very easy to make.

SERVES 12

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE BASE

FOR THE GOOEY SALTED CARAMEL

FOR THE CHOCOLATE TOPPING

METHOD

  1. Place all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir together
  2. Melt the coconut oil in a coffee mug in the microwave for about 45-1min and than add the maple syrup
  3. Wait until the coconut oil and maple mixx has cooled before place it into the dry ingredients otherwise your chocolate chips will melt
  4. Line a baking tray with baking paper and add the base ingredients to it, evening it out and than place it in the fridge to set
  5. For the salted caramel part boil a saucepan of water and place a glass bowl on top (heat resistant) and add all the ingredients constantly mixing until it is well combined
  6. For the chocolate top use the same method as the caramel centre
  7. Enjoy with friends and family
